Booking Terms and Conditions
PLEASE NOTE: With regret, cottages will not be available from 1st January 2011.
Payment
- Rates are inclusive of VAT except where otherwise stated. All prices are subject to aleration pre-deposit.
- We suggest you telephone, fax or email us to check cottage/s availability
- On confirmation of the cottage/s availability, we require a deposit of 33% of the total hire charge in order to secure your booking. The balance of the total payment is due six weeks prior to arrival
- We have facilities for most major credit cards. Please make cheques payable to Folly Farm Cottages
Booking Confirmation
- A receipt for your deposit and our booking form will then be sent to you
- We request that you complete the Cottages Booking Form as your agreement to the Terms and Conditions of Cottage Hire
- Please be sure to note ALL the people who will be staying in the cottage/s on the booking form. As per fire regulations, the number of people occupying the cottage/s must NOT exceed numbers shown on the website or brochure
Cancellation
- In the event of cancellation, we need confirmation of this in writing
- We will attempt to re-let the cottage/s and if successful, we will refund you in full less a £20.00 administration fee.
However, if it is not possible to re-let the cottage/s, we will retain the monies paid to us
Arrival
- Your cottage/s will be ready for you from 3:00 pm on the day of your arrival, (not before, please)
Departure
- On the day of your departure, kindly vacate the cottage before 10:00 am and we ask that you leave the property in a clean and tidy condition
Departure Invoice
- Telephone bills will be presented for payment the evening prior to your departure. This service is available to guests staying one week or longer. A payphone is situated in the Cottage Reception area in the main farmhouse
Liability
- We cannot accept liability for accidents or injuries which occur during your stay at Folly Farm Cottages
- Your baggage, cars and other belongings are your responsibility and we cannot accept responsibility for their loss or damage
Safety
- Children over 2 years of age are not permitted to sleep in cots and must be counted as an occupant under Fire Safety and Tourist Board regulation
- As a safety precaution, no cars are allowed in the courtyard area, so please use the car park provided.
- If you have children, please ensure they are properly supervised at all times
Damages and Breakages
- Please let us know as soon as possible if anything is missing, broken or needs repair and we will deal with it quickly
- If you have anything to pay for damages, please settle up before your departure
Pets
- We regret that NO pets are allowed in the cottages
Fire Regulations
- Fire regulations state that children who are 2 years and over are counted as a guest and must sleep in a bed and not a cot or on the floor.
