After the intense emotion of a beautiful ceremony, your guests are relaxed, happy and ready for the fun to begin. Anticipation and excitement mounts as they head towards our beautiful courtyard lawn to enjoy champagne and canapés. As your guests chat to family and friends, the party mood heightens and the photographer takes those natural and spontaneous photos.

Our extensive landscaped gardens provide a variety of interesting and romantic settings for individual and group photographs. The Great Tythe Barn and the honey-coloured Cotswold-stone cottages also make a superb backdrop for amazing images. As the British weather is unpredictable, should your reception drinks be indoors, the gallery, on the first floor of the tithe barn, is an equally magical setting for the reception photos.

The Wedding Breakfast
As you prepare for your first meal as husband and wife, dinner is announced, and your guests enter the Great Tythe Barn where they first set eyes on your exquisite table settings and decorations. You can, if you wish, greet your guests formally; it is, of course, your decision when you would like the cutting of the cake and when the speeches take place.

If you do not want the formality of a Wedding Breakfast, you can have a buffet with informal seating in the barn or perhaps a barbeque instead. We have gazebos on our lawns specially designed for such occasions. Whatever you decide, our professional caterers, Dine in Style, can provide bespoke menus and inspirational ideas.

It's Time to Party!
The Great Tythe Barn is a wonderful place for parties...with ample room for a live band or disco. The soft lighting in the barn sets the mood for your first romantic dance together as a married couple. If you would prefer to play CD's or pre-recorded music, we have a good PA system and CD player that your guests can strut their stuff to on the dance floor. To help get rid of any inhibitions, we have a fully-stocked cash bar set aside from the dance area. That just leaves you to rock and reel to your heart's content with your family and friends.

As the party dies down, it's time to reflect on your day and what better place to do this than in the tranquillity of one of our cosy cottages.

All of these possibilities are merely suggestions. You may have envisaged a low-key affair with a small ceremony and barbeque, or a quirky, fun themed day, or a lavish six-course wedding feast for 500. Our wedding coordinators are very happy to discuss any proposals you might have to create your idea of the perfect day.
